Happy Thanksgiving With Gratitude!

Wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving and sending a heartfelt thank you! May you enjoy rest and rejuvenation, time with loved ones, and great food! Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday and this year it holds extra special meaning after a year of significant ups and downs.

  • Professionally, I had the privilege to continue to do meaningful work with amazing leaders and to create and deepen working relationships with colleagues. I greatly appreciate the trust my clients put in me and the collaborative spirit and energy of my clients and colleagues!

  • Personally, my compassion, resilience, and appreciation for the present moment deepened as I grappled with the loss of a few significant people and helped to support others who lost loved ones. I’m grateful to have had those I lost in my life and to have the support and friendship of my other family members and friends!

  • Globally there is so much pain and loss - wildfires, hurricanes, earthquakes, mass shootings, wars, abuse, and incivility – it can feel overwhelming at times. Yet I’m thankful to all of you who chose every day to be a light, a voice, and/or a shoulder for others in need. I know as I take my part in supporting others it lifts me up. It may feel small to us but can make a huge difference to another!

A Parting Wish and Tips to Find the Pony!

My parting wish is that you will enjoy the quote below by Rabbi Harold Kushner. It is consistent with my belief that when you come to something difficult “there’s got to be a pony in there somewhere!” See more here: https://www.blueheronassociates.com/single-post/2017/09/22/10-Tips-for-Finding-the-Pony-Amidst-Change

"If you concentrate on finding whatever is good in every situation, you will discover that your life will suddenly be filled with gratitude, a feeling that nurtures the soul.”

— Rabbi Harold Kushner
